LinkedIn Talent scores highest in customer satisfaction in new crowdsourced software rankings on G2 Crowd

CHICAGO, June 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Based on reviews from more than 140 HR professionals, the inaugural Grid? for Recruiting Software, announced today by business software review site G2 Crowd, ranks 7 products to help HR software buyers in their selections. The Grid?, G2 Crowd's software recommendation engine, factors in customer satisfaction reported by users and vendor market presence determined from social and public data to rank products.


Recruiting software refers to software designed to facilitate the sourcing, hiring, and onboarding of new employees. Types of recruiting software include talent-sourcing tools, which are used to identify passive candidates and facilitate referrals through social networks, and applicant-tracking systems (ATS), which are used to manage the application and hiring process. In addition, suite products provide ATS functionality along with onboarding processes and integration to the other modules of their platforms – core HR, performance management, and training e-learning. This report contains data only from reviews written by users who utilize products' recruiting functionality.  

LinkedIn Talent, the professional social network's premium HR-focused offering, earned the highest customer satisfaction score and was named a Leader. To qualify as a Leader, a product must receive a high customer satisfaction score and have a large market presence. High Performers include UltiPro and Jobscience, which earned high customer satisfaction scores with a smaller market presence.

As part of the review process, recruiting software users scored specific features of the product they use. Of the recruiting features scored, users were most satisfied with the job posting functionality of the product they use, reporting an 82% rate of satisfaction. Onboarding functionality, with a 72% rate of satisfaction, was the lowest-rated feature. Across all products on the Grid?, recruiting software users on average are 74% likely to recommend the product they use.
