HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - All weekend long, Michelle Wie has played consistent golf at the Manulife Financial LPGA Classic, but unfortunately, she couldn't put it all together down the stretch for her second tour win of the season.
The Punahou grad fired a 68 and came in at sixth place after Sunday's final round in Ontario, Canada.
Wie entered the final round two shots off the lead and only bogeyed once, however, missed birdies forced her to settle for par on 14 holes.
On the other side, Inbee Park was tapping in everything in sight.
The second-ranked golfer in the world obliterated the field and dropped a whopping 10 birdies, five apiece on the front and back nines.
Park would shoot a 61 for her first win of 2014.
While she didn't win, Wie carded her eighth top 10 finish of the year.
She'll look to carry that momentum to the U.S. Women's Open, which begins June 19th.
