Twelve players with local connections picked in day three of MLB draft

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The final installment of the 2014 MLB draft turned out to be a big day for picks with local connections as 12 players were chosen in rounds 11 through 40.

946. RHP Robert Kahana         Campbell            32nd round, Houston Astros

1044. RHP Joey Aquino           Mililani                35th round, Toronto Blue Jays

They join Waiakea grad Kodi Medeiros, who was taken by the Milwaukee Brewers in the first round as the 12th overall pick.
