HONOLULU (AP) - Honolulu and the Hong Kong Business Association of Hawaii are hosting a forum on business opportunities in Hong Kong and China.
Honolulu Mayor Kirk Caldwell says the meeting will be a great resource for the people of Oahu to learn about tapping into emerging economic opportunities.
The gathering is being held at the Hilton Hawaiian Village in Waikiki on Friday.
Topics include practical tips on doing business in China, Chinese outbound investment and growing a technology business in China.
The forum will feature speakers who are business leaders and officials from China's Ministry of Commerce and the United Nations Peace and Development Foundation.
