MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII, KANEOHE (HawaiiNewsNow) - The show will go on! Marine Corps Base Hawaii has announced its popular summer event BayFest will return, however not in the summer.
The three-day concert and carnival event will be taking place in the fall, from October 17 to 19.
Some of entertainments largest acts have played BayFest including the Black Eyed Peas, Brad Paisley and Alan Jackson just to name a few.
Last year sequestion and budget cuts forced Marine Corps Community Services to cancel BayFest. Sources tell Hawaii News Now at least one group has been signed so far, but they are not saying who.
BayFest Hawaii is not a fundraiser but held to say thank you to the Marines and their families who are serving and stationed at Marine Corps Base Hawaii.
