Gr3en Energy, the first organic energy drink powered by kale and made in Hawaii

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Gr3en Energy, the first organic energy drink powered by kale, started here in Hawaii. Alan Joaquin, GR3EN Energy Founder and CEO is here on Sunrise to talk more about the organic green tea, coconut water, kale energy drink that launched in the islands on April 21st.

After returning home from New York, where GR3EN took "Best Presentation" honors at the BevNET "Super Bowl of Beverages", Alan drove straight from the airport to deliver cases of Gr3en Energy for the Hokulea crew's worldwide voyage. Joaquin said that is was a chicken skin moment to watch GR3EN get loaded on board, because space is so sacred on the voyaging canoe; an ambassador of aloha and sustainability.

The Gr3en Energy launch party will be celebrated on Saturday June 14th at Rumfire in the Sheraton Waikiki.

Sales support GR3EN'S "Seed the Future" campaign to build more FarmRoofs on wasted rooftops. This Hawaii start-up has secured distribution with Southern Wine & Spirits and contracts with retailers such as Whole Foods, Foodland, ABC Stores, Times, Tamura's, Kokua Market and Hotel & Resort properties such as Ihilani Resort, Hilton Hawaiian Village, Sheraton Waikiki, Westin Maui and Four Seasons Wailea, as well as multiple gyms and fitness centers.
