HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The last time Michelle Wie was the 10th best golfer in the world came back in June of 2011.
As recently as one year ago, the Punahou grad stood at number 100, but now her climb back into golf's elite is complete.
According to the Rolex Women's World Rankings released Monday, the 24-year-old is slotted at number 10.
This comes a day after she tied for third at the Airbus LPGA Classic, the fifth straight event she's finished in the top 10.
Wie is now the thrd highest ranked American in the world behind Stacy Lewis and Lexi Thompson.
She's second on the 2014 tour earnings list at about $800,000.
