HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - It's known as the premier women's event in Hawaii amateur golf and this weekend, the Jennie K. Wilson Invitational, will crown its 64th champion.
Barring a complete meltdown or surge from the field, the trophy will most likely fall into the hands of 15-year-old, Mariel Galdiano
The punahou sophomore entered Saturday's round two with a three-stroke lead and used 'moving day' to run away from the field.
Galdiano shot a 67 to finish at 8-under and is the only player in the tourney that's below par.
Galdiano tees off in the final round Sunday morning at 9:07 a.m.
