Maoli Arts Month Celebrates Native Hawaiian Artists and Designers

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

(Hawaii News Now) - The 9th Annual Maoli Arts Month will celebrate native Hawaiian artists and designers to honor the depth and diversity of Hawaiian art. Through the months of May and June, events will be held on Maui, Oahu, and Hawai'i island to showcase more than 30 native Hawaiian artists. Steve spoke with the founder of the Maoli Arts Month Vicky Holt Takamine, who gave us a preview of some of the beautiful art that will be displayed.
