Another south Georgia girls' basketball talent will be staying at home.
Westover guard MyKesa Smith signed her letter of intent with Albany Tech Tuesday afternoon.
"I like how they play. I like their style. I'm just going to go down and show them how I play," she says. "I don't want to move away. Not just yet."
The Lady Patriots' star was an all-region selection her junior year, and helped lead the team to the state playoffs again in 2014.
She says she plans on being exactly what the Lady Titans want her to be.
"They just want me to come out there and shoot. They need a shooter, so I'm just going to go out there and shoot for them," she says. "I'm also going to be a defensive stopper, and just play hard."
Smith becomes the second player from the city of Albany to sign with the Titans since last week. Monroe's Cedriana Waters joined the team on Friday.
