SALT LAKE, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) - [Update 8:45 p.m.]
After scouring the neighborhood all day, police are now hoping eye-witnesses will come forward.
"I don't think scared came in to my mind at that time," said one witness who wants to remain anonymous. "Probably more along the lines of confused and curious…still not really grasping what was going on," he said.
He said he saw the men run out with weapons still in hand.
"It didn't register what was going on. I was definitely trying to pay attention to what they were doing," he said.
The two men had it well planned. They held up four tellers at the Salt Lake branch of American Savings Bank located at 848 Ala Lilikoi Street Tuesday morning, robbing each.
One was armed with a rifle, the other had a pistol.
Police sources say they got away with more than $20,000.
Honolulu Police have no leads. Detectives were still at the scene hours later.
