Two South Georgia football players are heading to the pros, Telvin Smith and Jemea Thomas.
Smith was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 5th round of the NFL Draft.
Smith was at the core of FSU's championship defense, posting 90 tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss and three interceptions in 2013. He returned two of his touchdowns for interceptions.
Fitzgerald High grad Jemea Thomas was taken with the 206th pick in the draft by the New England Patriots.
Thomas was third team All-ACC this past season with the Yellow Jackets.
