Long Beach St. deals UH another Big West loss

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The University of Hawaii Rainbow Warrior baseball team may have won four straight games against New York Tech last weekend, but before that UH had lost 12 of 13 against Big West opponents.

Hawaii's woes against conference foes continued Saturday night as Long Beach State defeated UH, 11-5, at Les Murakami Stadium.

The 'Bows surrendered a season-high 20 hits against the Dirtbags and also allowed seven LBSU runs in the fifth inning.

With the loss, Hawaii falls to 19-27 and 3-14 in the Big West.

The series finale is set for Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m.
