Honolulu police officials in Kaneohe have confirmed that there was another escape from the Hawaii Youth Correctional Facility on Sunday night.
Hawaii News Now has learned that the escapee, a 17-year-old boy, was released on a pass to his father on Saturday evening and did not return to the facility on Sunday night.
Police say the boy is 5'11" inches tall and 180 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen in the Honolulu area.
Representatives from the state Department of Human Services did not immediately return a request for information.
