Cleveland Police arrest suspect in deadly stabbing on Harvard Ave.

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

Homicide detectives have arrested a male in connection with the fatal stabbing that occurred on May 2, near E. 142nd and Harvard.

Officers have arrested and charged Randall K. Leverett, 32, of Bedford Heights  in connection with the death of 41-year-old Monte M. Robinson.

An arrest warrant has been issued for a second suspect in this case. 

Robinson was fatally stabbed in the head during a fight early Friday morning, around 1:45 a.m. 

The preliminary investigation reveals that Robertson was stabbed during a fight. Police believe a second man also suffered a stab wound.

Robertson was rushed to Metrohealth Medical Center, where he later died.

The second victim was taken to South Pointe Hospital.

There is no word on his condition at this time.

Police have not made any arrests related to the incident.
