The huge crowds that descended onto Playhouse Square for Dazzle the District required a massive police presence.

Cleveland Police did more to amp up security for the event then just add a few extra officers.

While undercover officers mingled amongst the crowd; there were officers up above the crowd raised by a large lift who were watching and rolling cameras on all of the action.

Those up in the tall buildings looked down, and still more coordinated the security coverage all in a state-of-the-art mobile command unit. Those officers could see everything happening through the downtown cameras.

Additionally, police had more officers downtown to handle traffic and crowds for the Indians game and a concert. They took to the streets via mounted patrol others in the K-9 unit were there with dogs.

Cleveland Police weren't taking any chances with a monumental-sized crowd.

Even in a "feel good" crowd, one would never know what there would be to see. Protesters appeared complaining that there haven't been any charges filed in a deadly police chase.

One said until there is justice there won't be any peace.
