CLEVELAND: Passenger shot in the head while riding near E. 110 and Mt. Carmel

Fourth District Cleveland Detectives are investigating a felonious assault shooting that occurred on Thursday, April 24, around 11:50 p.m. in the area of E. 110 & Mt. Carmel.

Officers responded to Cleveland Clinic in connection with a 25-year-old male shot. The victim had been taken to Cleveland Clinic in a private vehicle.

Upon arrival, officers learned that the victim had a gunshot wound to the head and was being flown to MetroHealth Medical Center.

According to police, the victim is listed in condition is critical.

The witness who transported the victim to hospital informed officers that while driving in the area of E. 110 & Mt. Carmel, the victim, who was the front seat passenger, was shot.

The witness could not provide any suspect information and states he did not hear any shots fired. The vehicle involved was towed and evidence was collected at E. 110 & Mount Carmel.

At this time no arrests have been made related to this incident.
