The U.S. Geological Survey says a magnitude-6.7earthquake has struck the Pacific coast of British Columbia, Canada.
The U.S. Geological Survey says the quake struck at 5:10 p.m. Hawaii time and did not generate a tsunami. It had a depth of near 6.2 miles. There are no immediate reports of damage.
The epicenter was 280 miles northwest of Seattle, Washington.
The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center says that a destructive Pacific-wide Tsunami is not expected and there is no Tsunami threat to Hawaii.
There is also NO tsunami threat for the west coast.
