Honolulu police and fire crews conducted an operation on Tuesday morning to retrieve a body that was found in waters just off Magic Island, witnesses at the scene told Hawaii News Now.
Details surrounding the operation remain unclear at this time, but police officials tell Hawaii News Now the body that was recovered was that of a male, and foul play was not immediately suspected.
The body was reportedly recovered in waters off of the Ewa side of Magic Island, and a surf board was used to bring it to shore.
