Aloun Farms is kicking off its 2nd annual Sweet Onion Festival this Easter weekend. Families are invited to take part in what is being called Hawaii's biggest Easter egg hunt. Ramsay Wharton went down to Aloun Farms in Kapolei to get a sneak peak of what is happening this weekend.
The 2nd Annual Sweet Onion Festival will be celebrated with local entertainment, Hawaiian crafts, fresh local produce, kiddie rides, country grinds and of course, onions.
Aloun Farm also teamed up with the Hawaii Food Bank, where they will be accepting canned food donations. Visitors will receive a free Ewa Sweet Onion sponsored by Aloun Farms, with each donation made.
The Sweet Onion Festival takes place on April 19, 20, 26 and 27 from 8:30am to 5pm. The Easter egg hunt is this weekend only. Admission is just $3.00 per person and kiddies 2 and under are free.
