HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -
33-year-old Armen Apoyan was walked into the Honolulu Police Department's receiving desk shortly after noon Friday.

Apoyan was arrested by police in Seattle last month for his role in a scam at a Waikiki ATM.

Honolulu Police say Apoyan and Argishti Khachaturyan, 33, stole the account information of everyone who used a Central Pacific Bank ATM in a three-day period in February of last year.

They allegedly installed an "overlay skimming device" over the card reader slot of the machine at 2250 Kalakaua Avenue.  They left the device there for the three days.  During that time, it captured the account information of everyone who got cash.  Police say the men then made fake ATM cars and withdrew thousands of dollars from the victims.

Khachaturyan was arrested back in September and his trial is set for June.
