Augusta National Golf Club (WFXG) -
Almost every golf fan can agree that getting the chance to attend the Masters Tournament is a dream come true.
Two diehard golf fans who actually make a living as photographers at various PGA Tour events are in Augusta this week for the Masters. But this tournament isn't one they get the chance to attend very often.
Terri Thompson and Susan Pankau own In Focus Sports Photography based in Savannah. They are both lifelong friends of Phil Mickelson and follow him to various tournaments across the country.
They average about nine to 10 events a year, but for Pankau, today marked her first time at the Masters. She says all the photos, the images on TV and the stories she's heard don't even begin to do Augusta National justice.
"I don't think I slept last night I was so excited," Pankau said. "It's a beautiful spot, the people are awesome. It's just a great day."
Both women say the crowds at Augusta National are on another level as well, and they hope to be back very soon.
