Swiss mega-yacht returns to Honolulu, with company

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

The mega-yacht owned by a Swiss billionaire has once again returned to Honolulu, but it isn't the only multi-million dollar yacht docked here in Hawaiian waters.

The $160 million dollar VAVA II, owned by Swiss/Italian pharmaceutical tycoon Ernesto Bertarelli and his wife, has been seen making its way around the state since last month.

A Hawaii News Now crew reports that it has been seen docked at Aloha Tower.  Another mega-yacht, the $34.5 million dollar Meduse, which is owned by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen just set sail for Kailua-Kona.

Allen's yacht, which is reported to be considerably smaller than the VAVA II, still boasts a helicopter, movie theater, and an elevator.

We've also learned that the Meduse happens to be for sale.
