Randolph-Clay star guard Brandi Buie has committed to Jacksonville University, Lady Devils head coach Jennifer Acree tells WALB.
Acree says Buie committed after her official visit this week.
"She loved the coaches," Acree says.
JU head coach Yolett McPhee-McCuin has several international ties, something Acree says was a draw to Buie.
"She wants to keep her options open in case she gets an opportunity to play international basketball someday," she says.
Buie helped lead the Lady Red Devils to the GHSA A-Public state championship this season, and was named the Class A Girls' Player of the Year by the Atlanta Journal-Constitiution Thursday.
Acree says the school will hold a signing ceremony for Buie on National Signing Day.
