Flood Advisory continues for Maui until 4 p.m.

KAHULUI, MAUI (HawaiiNewsNow) -

The Flood Advisory remains in effect until 4 p.m. for parts of Maui.

At 2:09 p.m., radar showed that rainfall has shifted eastward with the heaviest amounts east of a line from Paia to Ulupalakua. Radar estimates of rain rates were in the range of 1 to 2 inches per hour.

A Flash Flood Watch is also in effect for Maui County through 6 a.m. Sunday.

A Flood Advisory is also in effect for the island of Oahu.
