Suspect pleads not guilty in Oahu dismemberment case

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Bail is set at $5 million for a man accused of a grisly murder on Oahu. Bryan Suitt on Monday entered a not guilty plea via a video conference at OCCC.

He is accused of killing and dismembering Alex Gonzales last year and then dumping his remains near the Mililani cemetery. Suitt allegedly fled to San Diego where US marshals picked him up in December.

He fought extradition until he was ordered back to Hawaii last week. A trial date is now set for late May.
