CLEVELAND, OH -

We've learned of two more attacks on RTA riders, so we're asking questions about your safety.

The latest incidents happened Monday, March 17, 2014 on the eastside and westside.

At the East 79th Rapid station, a group of young thugs roughed up and robbed a man. Three teens are now facing charges.

On a train on near West 25th Street and Lorain Road, a fight broke out, and as it did a teen robbed a woman of her cell phone even choking her as he did it.

These incidents are the just the latest involving groups of young punks. Recently, gunmen held up another man at the East 79th station.

We saw a man attacked downtown, and we found one suspect is already facing charges in two other robberies of RTA riders. Video from one of those cases shows multiple suspects running from a train.

As far as everyone's safety, RTA says it just completed an upgrade of its camera system. Now cameras on all buses and trains and at all stations. The agency points out it also has an app for smart phones for anonymous tips.

Riders that our Ed Gallek met want more patrols. RTA says it's the second largest police force in the area.

In fact, in some of these attacks we have seen arrests; but at the same time, we're still seeing more happening.
