WILLOWICK, OH (WOIO) -

The resident of a single-wide trailer is being questioned about what ignited an intense fire that completely gutted his home Thursday, March 20, 2014. 

Firefighter Lynn tells 19 Action News his entire department was dispatched to the Johnson Mobile Home Park located at 30335 Euclid Avenue just before 6:45 p.m.

Five Willowick trucks arrived within five minutes and were backed up by the Wickliffe, Eastlake, Kirtland, Mentor, Willoughby and Willoughby Hills fire departments. 

The resident was conscious and already outside of his home.

Captain Mike Palumbo tells 19 Action News, "It was fully involved with lots of smoke and heavy flames coming from trailer home. The resident is being interviewed by FIU (Fire Investigations Unit)."

The man has been taken to LakeWest Hospital for treatment.

The trailer is a total loss. There isn't any word yet on what ignited the flames. The local Salvation Army is assisting the victim.
