WAIKIKI (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Hawaii News Now has pictures from the surveillance video that helped Honolulu Police identify a robbery suspect.

The video is from February 2nd taken at the ABC store in Waikiki near the Tradewinds apartments where Julie Stephenson lived.    The man appears to be following the 52-year old Stephenson.

Minutes later, police say, the man grabbed her purse and knocked her down.  Stephenson hit her head and broke her hip.  She had been in a coma for days before she died.

It didn't take long for officers to recognize the man in the video as Josiah Figueroa.  The 24-year old has an extensive criminal history.   Monday night, he was arrested in Waianae.

"It is a relief," says Jennifer Feathers, Stephenson's daughter,"My mom lost her life because of the injures he caused."

Stephenson graduated from Kaiser High School and worked as a bartender at Assaggio Italian Restaurant in Ala Moana Shopping Center for the past 12 years.

Figueroa has been arrested on drug charges, traffic violations, and most recently, violating the terms of his probation.  He's been arrested multiple times just this year.  Including on February 10th, as Stephenson was fighting for her life in the hospital.  He was released and ordered to attend daily AA meetings.

Figueroa is charged with manslaughter and robbery.

The victim's family has held fundraisers so that family members from Oklahoma can take care of her affairs here in Hawaii.
