STOW, OH (WOIO) -

Still no arrests in the murder of a Stow woman.

The body of Michelle Johnson, 21, was found in a shed behind a duplex on Maplepark Drive on Saturday. Johnson's mother, who lives out of state, called police because she had not heard from her daughter for several days, and was concerned for her well-being.

"I guess her daughter and her did a lot of Facebooking. She had not heard from her daughter for a couple days and she was concerned and that's why she asked for welfare check," Chief Louis Dirker said.

The Police Chief tells 19 Action News Johnson's roommate has been ruled out as a suspect. The chief also says they believe her murder was a "crime of passion."

Johnson died from blunt force trauma to the neck.

The chief also tells 19 Action News that important evidence was discovered inside the home.

"Even if you have information that you don't think is that important. You would be surprised.  It might be the missing piece of piece of the puzzle.  Don't hesitate  to call," added Chief Dirker.

A memorial is now growing at the murder scene.
