HAWAII KAI, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

The Hawaii Kai Carnival got underway at 4 p.m. Sunday following a four-hour delay because of wind.

E.K. Fernandez, which organized the event, shut down the carnival at 4 p.m. Saturday because of strong winds. The carnival was originally scheduled to resume at noon Sunday.

A Wind Advisory remains in effect until 10 p.m. Sunday.

The carnival will also be held next weekend.
