The University of Hawaii Rainbow Warrior baseball team led for most of the night, but the 'Bows saw their lead quickly evaporate as the Nevada Wolfpack reeled off five-runs in the eighth inning to defeat UH, 7-4, at Les Murakami Stadium.
UH catcher Trevor Podratz provided one of the early highlights with the team's first home run at the Les this season with a monster shot over the left field fence in the fourth inning.
Bows were up by two runs until the eighth when Austin Byler hit a three-run bases clearing triple to put the Pack ahead 7-4.
With the loss, Hawaii suffers its third-straight loss and falls to 7-10 on the season.
The teams will meet again Saturday night. First pitch is set for 6:35 p.m.
