Business professionals, executives, and entrepreneurs were encouraged to tryout a new workspace in Kaka'ako today.

At the "Out-of-the-office" event, professionals were invited to use individual and co-working spaces at the Pinch of Salt warehouse on Auahi street.

The warehouse was transformed into a creative working environment equipped with televisions, foosball table, and a playground for team building activities.

The event aimed to give professionals a chance to network, provide fresh workspaces for individuals and groups, and test out the areas new, free high-speed WiFi.

"We felt this out of office pop-up event would really bring people to Kaka'ako to kind of envision what our community will be like," said Kirra Downing of Our Kaka'ako. "To be a creative hub for people just to come and gather."

The event is part of Kamehameha School's "Our Kaka'ako" project to create a more community based environment for the already growing neighborhood.
