Hawaii tsunami warning sirens to be inspected by city and state technicians

Tsunami warning sirens that malfunctioned or did not sound this month will be inspected by technicians to ensure full functionality, the city's Department of Emergency Management says. 

After releasing results of this month's tsunami warning siren test, DEM officials said sirens near Fort Shafter, Wailua, Wahiawa and Lanikai did not sound. Sirens in Kunia and Hawaii Kai are currently being replaced.

The following are locations of sirens reported to have issues. All sirens will be inspected by city or state technicians and will be repaired if necessary.
