The University of Hawaii Rainbow Warrior baseball team scored first for the fourth time this series but only managed to win one game, losing 4-1 to Texas in their series finale on Sunday afternoon at UFCU Disch-Falk Field.
The game was preceded by the second game of Saturday's doubleheader which was postponed due to inclement weather. The game, resumed this morning in the eighth inning, saw Texas win 3-2 off a Zacey Clemens RBI-hit with two outs in the eighth inning.

The 'Bows opened the scoring for the fourth time in the series when Juliene Jones drove home Jordan Richartz on a single to right field in the third inning. Richartz capped an excellent series with a hit and a run scored.
Texas responded quickly by plating a pair of runs in the bottom of third. C.J. Hinojosa and Jacob Felts (1 H, 1 RBI) laid down successive bunt singles with Hinojosa (3-4, 1 R, 2 RBI) later scoring UT's second run on a 'Bow throwing error. He later gave the Longhorns two insurance runs with a two-RBI single in the sixth for a 4-1 lead.
