A flood advisory that was in effect for portions of Windward East Maui has been allowed to expire as of 12:30 p.m.
The National Weather Service had posted the advisory earlier Sunday due to persistent rain along the Hana coastline and upslope areas.
While the rain has subsided, weather will be wetter than usual for the area through Tuesday.
