After suffering back-to-back road losses, the Rainbow Warrior basketball team returned to its winning groove Saturday night and ended the regular season with an 81-77 victory against Cal State-Fullerton at the Stan Sheriff Center.
The game also marked the last time at the Stan for seniors Brandon Spearman, Davis Rozitis, and Christian Standhardinger.
Isaac Fotu, Standhardinger, Spearman and Keith Shamburger each scored in double-figures, but Fotu led all players with 18 points.
With the win, Hawaii ends the regular season at 20-10 and 9-7 in the Big West. This marks the first time UH has finished with 20 wins since the 2003-'04 campaign.
The Bows now enter the Big West tourney as the fourth-seed in the conference and will play Cal State-Northridge in the first-round Thursday night at 6:30 p.m. Hawaii time.
