Fans who want to watch the Tampa Bay Rays take on theMontgomery Biscuits this spring, can buy their tickets at the MAX Capital CityClassic, on March 4, at the start of the sixth inning. The tickets for Rays atRiverwalk presented by Wind Creek Hospitality will go on sale at the RiverwalkStadium box office and online at RaysatRiverwalk.com.
The exhibition match up between the MLB Rays and theirDouble-A affiliate will take place on Saturday, March 29. The game will markthe first time the Capital City has seen a Major League team play on the samefield as its Minor League team.
The first pitch for Rays at Riverwalk is scheduled for 2:05p.m. with gates opening to the public at noon. The first 2,500 fans through thegates will receive replica Joe Maddon glasses. Pre-game ceremonies will beginat 1:25 p.m.
For select Biscuits season ticket holders, VIP gates willopen at 11 a.m. where fans can engage in a Q&A session with, Rays' manager,Joe Maddon.
The Rays and Biscuits will take batting practice between12:15 and 1:15 p.m. The players will be available for autographs for a selecttime in the seating bowl area.
