HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The latest official trailer for the 'Godzilla' movie, with many scenes filmed in Hawaii, was released Saturday and if the web numbers are any indication, it is sure to be a major blockbuster.

This 'extended ' trailer was published on YouTube and has already logged 3.2 million views.

The trailer portrays a terrifying world haunted by a mysterious beast that only appears briefly toward the end of the clip.

For those looking for Hawaii scenes in the trailer, go to the :58 second mark.

Last July, about 300 people took part in filming that scene, running down Lewers Street in a panic as a tsunami devastated Hawaii's shores.

The movie is directed by Gareth Edwards and stars 'Breaking Bad' lead actor Bryan Cranston, Elizabeth Olsen, Ken Watanabe, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Sally Hawkins and Juliette Binoche.

It hits theaters nationwide May 16.
