BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

Former Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis and New Orleans Saints defensive coordinator Rob Ryan will be guest speakers at this year's LSU Football Coaches Clinic.

The clinic will be held at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center on March 27-29.

"We are extremely honored and excited to have one of the all-time great football players in Ray Lewis serve as the featured speaker at this year's clinic," head coach Les Miles said. "Ray is a great ambassador for the game of football and his knowledge and experience will provide our coaches with great perspective on what it means to be a teacher and coach."

Ryan will take the podium Thursday, March 27 at 7:15 p.m. and Lewis will speak Friday, March 28 at 11:45 a.m.

Former Saints and current Oakland Raiders special teams coach Bobby April will also be featured at the clinic.

The LSU Football Coaches Clinic will give participants an opportunity to see the Tigers practice on Thursday, March 27 and then watch an LSU scrimmage on Saturday, March 29 in Tiger Stadium. There will also be a barbeque social and a crawfish boil for the coaches.
