Lahaina man charged with first-degree meth trafficking

LAHAINA, MAUI (HawaiiNewsNow) -

41-year-old Paea K. Faleta, of Lahaina, was arrested and charged with first-degree methamphetamine trafficking, following a search warrant that was conducted at a Lahaina residence on Thursday.

Lahaina police executed their search warrant on Thursday at approximately 6:10 a.m., and discovered more than eight grams of crystal methamphetamine, four glass pipes, a paper bindle containing crystal meth, a surveillance camera and monitor, and two shot gun rounds.

According to MPD officials, Faleta was charged with first-degree methamphetamine trafficking, three counts of promoting a dangerous drug, four counts of prohibited acts related to drug paraphernalia, and storing ammunition.

Faleta's bail is set at $17,200
