HONOLULU - The University of Hawaii (0-4) Baseball team failed to capture its first win of the season, falling to 6th ranked Oregon (4-0) 10-2, Monday evening.
UH pitcher Scott Kuzminsky (0-1) earned his first career start and worked 7-innings, surrendering 8-hits and 7-runs.
Kaeo Aliviado led the Bows with two hits while Jordan Richartz added an RBI single in the fifth inning.
Scott Heineman and Tyler Baumgartner both had three hits and three RBI for Oregon with Baumgartner adding one RBI in OU's big six-run eighth inning to put the game away. The 'Bows shored up their defense but did put two errors on the board, both from UH pitchers.
The 'Bows suffer their second straight sweep to the Ducks and will next take the field this week for four games at Les Murakami Stadium against the University of Albany. First pitch of the series opener is set for Thursday, Feb. 20 at 6:35 p.m.
