(Hawaii News Now) - The road to college can be expensive, with tuition prices only increasing year by year. As the third largest private scholarship provider in the state with more than $4 million in scholarships available each year, Hawai'i Community Foundation (HCF) has made it possible for hundreds of local students, who might not have had the chance to do so otherwise, pursue a college education.
HCF's application process is simple. Students submit just one online application that automatically applies them for more than 180 different HCF scholarship funds. If eligible, students can be awarded from one or more of these funds. This year for the first time, students can apply by an early deadline of Jan. 31, 2014 to receive feedback and a first-pass review by the HCF scholarships department. To apply, search for a scholarship or find more information, click here. The final deadline to submit an application is Feb. 20, 2014.
