The United States has hauled in its first Olympic medal of the day. Noelle Pikus-Pace claimed the silver in the women's skeleton, finishing less than a second off the gold medal time.
It's the first medal in the 31-year-old's Olympic career.
The mother of two says she will retire from the sport.
