Honolulu police have released surveillance video in five
different Oahu robberies and in each case the suspect was wearing a gray
hoodie, black mask and flashes a handgun.
Police are not saying if the robberies are connected at this
All five happened during a nine-day period.
The first happened on Jan. 25 at 2:38 a.m., police
say a man entered Longs Drugs on Fort Weaver Road, brandished a handgun, and
demanded money from the cashier. The suspect fled in an unknown direction.
Then on Feb. 1 at 11:42 p.m., a hooded suspect attempted to break into the Chevron Food Mart
in Waipahu. According to police, the suspect who was carrying a handgun was not
able to make entry and fled the area.
Then just a couple hours later, a hooded suspect hit a Jack in the Box in Kunia. Police say
at 2 a.m. the suspect climbed through the drive-thru window and took money from the register.
On Feb. 2 the hooded suspect struck again. Police say at 1 a.m. the man attempted to enter the Chevron Station
in Salt Lake while brandishing a handgun. An employee saw the suspect
approaching and was able to lock the door. The hooded suspect attempted to
break the glass before fleeing.
forty minutes later, the hooded suspect showed up at the Waikele McDonalds.
Police say he climbed through the drive-thru window flashed his handgun, grabbed
cash from the office and took off.
