HONOLULU (AP) - The University of Hawaii will play host to a high school physics competition this month.
About 120 high school students from Oahu public and private schools will challenge each other at the Manoa campus on Feb. 22.
The 25th annual Hawaii Physics Olympics and Regional Bridge Building Contest will feature 30 teams in all.
The students will participate in five events based on physics concepts. The bridge building contest is optional.
The events are designed and run by students from Manoa, Kapiolani Community College, Leeward Community College, Brigham Young University Hawaii and Chaminade University.
