Honolulu police shut down Manoa street due to downed power lines

Liloa Rise Street has been reopened, according to the Honolulu Police Department.

Original story:

Honolulu police have closed Liloa Rise Street between Kamehameha Avenue and Armstrong Street around 5 a.m. due to downed power lines.

According to the Hawaiian Electric Co., the downed power lines have not affected service for customers in the area. 

Crews are currently on location making repairs, but it has not yet been determined when the streets will be reopened.
