SAN LEANDRO, Calif., Feb. 6, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Parents often send their Student Athletes to camps and events to help improve their athletic skills. Now, for the first time ever, parents have an opportunity to attend an event with their young Student Athletes to improve their life skills to ensure success in life after sports. This event is called SAY Momentum. It will be held March 8, 2014 at San Leandro Performance Arts Center.
The theme of the event is: "Success Is Predictable. It Is Not an Accident."
"There are a lot of great student athletes who have skills in sports but they shot air balls with their life choices. They fumbled opportunities. They struck out having accountability. The goal of this event is to prevent that. I want to put items on the youth's radar so they can be prepared," said Cordell Davenport, Author and CEO of Basketball To Success LLC.
The focus of SAY Momentum, is to help young athletes prepare for the future by taking ownership of their actions or inaction.
