CLEVELAND, Ohio (HawaiiNewsNow) - Former Warrior football coach Tony Tuioti will be named an assistant coach for the Cleveland Browns sometime this week, sources have told Hawaii News Now.
Tuioti will serve as an assistant to the Browns defensive line, it's a return to the familiar for the 36 year old who coached defensive tackles while at the University of Hawaii (2010-11) as well as a position he played during his days as a Warrior from 1996-1999, where he garnered All-Wac honors.
Most recently, Tuioti spent two seasons as the Warriors linebackers coach.
He is one of two former Rainbow Warriors to win a WAC championship both as a player and coach in school history.
