The Rainbow Warriors basketball team suffered a tough break in its return to home Thursday night as Long Beach State defeated Hawaii, 92-83, at the Stan Sheriff Center.
Despite five UH players scoring in double figures, the 49ers shot 60-percent from the field and two guards combined for 53 points.
The loss marks only the third time UH has lost at home this season.
The Bows are back in action Saturday night against Cal State-Northridge in the second matchup of a four-game homestand.
